Spring is fast approaching.  This is a time of anticipation . . . rebirth, new growth, new beginnings . . . new appreciation of things . . .

In this workshop, we will create an ambient circle of light to brighten the last dark days of Winter in anticipation of the warmer spring days on the horizon.  You will decorate an upright lighted ring on a tray base using natural materials and/or upcycled gently used items.  You can create an abstract work of art.  Or you could add in personal pieces to create a focus on a special person or relationship – a happy place – or something you look forward to in the year ahead.

We will supply assorted rings, base, lights and tools as well as natural materials such as moss, lichens, branches, dried flowers and foliage, nuts, cones, shells . . . And there will be shiny balls, beads and bobbles, glitzy twigs, glass pebbles, small candle/votive holders, and other thrifted ornamental items to choose from.  We also encourage you to bring any specific item(s) you’d like to hang in the ring or place on the tray base to add a personalized focus if desired:  a framed photo, a memorial item, an inspirational sign or words, a figurine, something to represent a plan, goal, or dream for the year ahead, or something that just brings you peace and calm when you gaze at it.

There will also be light snacks and of course goat time!
